I was delighted when Shaun and Cheryl contacted me after I had covered their friend's wedding in the Old Fruitmarket, Glasgow the year before and was so excited to hear their reception was to be held in the Caves in Edinburgh. I love visiting Edinburgh and the old streets and closes and new this venue would be brilliant to work in.
The couple were cheered and congratulated all the way down the Grassmarket as we stopped off for a few photographs with the castle in the background just adding to the excitement of the day. The best man stole the show however with his cartwheel in the middle of the street - thankfully the motorists who waited patiently for this bridal procession to pass.
Brilliant couple, brilliant day ... just brilliant!
